Fun prop for the party

I rented a life size pirate statue for my son's birthday party. It was a huge hit! Everyone loved taking pictures with it. Setting up delivery and pickup was easy, no fuss at all. Felt good not to buy something I'd only use once. Definitely made the party better.

Absolutely love my new statue!

I just got my life size alien statue and it's incredible! The details are amazing, it looks so real. It's going to be the centerpiece of my collection. I can't believe how quickly it got here either. I'm already planning my next purchase, maybe a sci-fi statue! My friends are going to be so jealous when they see this. LM Treasures is the best!

Decent purchase, some shipping notes

I bought a life size horse statue. The quality is solid, looks nice in the garden, and it was mostly what I expected. The price seemed fair for such a large item. Delivery took about 10 days to reach my home in Florida, which was a bit longer than I hoped, but I understand these are big items to ship. The packaging was very secure, almost too secure, it took a while to unbox it. Overall, I'm satisfied, but wish shipping was a tad faster.

Great value on a unique piece

I was looking for a specific life size elephant statue and LM Treasures had the best price after I looked around quite a bit. I also got free shipping, which was a big deal since these things are so heavy. It saved me a lot of money compared to other places. The statue itself is really well made for what I paid. I felt like I got a good deal and it was worth the money.

Hey, I'm looking at getting one of those giant superhero statues. Does anyone know if they're actually legit movie replicas or just kinda close?

A Andre W. 2 months ago

From what I remember, they have some licensed stuff but also their own takes. You gotta check the specific item description, it usually says if it's an 'authentic replica' or just 'inspired by'.

B Beth Marsh 2 months ago

Yeah, I got a horror prop from them last year. It was super high quality, but not an exact replica like from the actual movie studios. Still looks awesome though.

Has anyone ordered a huge statue from LM Treasures to like, New York City? Wondering what shipping costs are like, I'm imagining a fortune.

D Dan L. 1 month ago

Oh man, shipping is no joke for those things. I ordered a pirate statue to Florida and it was a few hundred bucks. They use freight companies, so it's not like regular UPS.

Yeah, I'm in Chicago and had a similar experience. They give you a quote at checkout, but it's always gonna be hefty for those oversized items. Sometimes they have free shipping promos though, keep an eye out for those, they're clutch.

Does LM Treasures do returns if I get a statue and it's not quite what I expected?

A Anna 1 month ago

They do, but it's a bit of a process because of the size. Make sure you check their return policy on the website, I remember it being specific about conditions and who pays for return shipping for big stuff.

5

C Carly N. 1 month ago

I had to return a smaller item once and it was pretty straightforward, but I think for the huge statues it's different. They likely have some restocking fees and you'd probably be on the hook for freight shipping back. Read the fine print before you buy!

Is there a first-time buyer discount code or anything like that?

T Todd 2 months ago

Yeah, I think I got one when I signed up for their newsletter. It was like 10% off or something.

C Chris Walsh 2 months ago

Most online stores do that now. Sign up for their email list, usually a pop-up comes up with a code for your first purchase. Can't hurt to try!

My event is in like, 3 weeks. If I order one of those prop rentals, will it even get here in time?

B Brett B. 1 month ago

For rentals, you'd probably need to confirm with them directly. Shipping large items takes time, especially depending on where you are. I wouldn't count on it showing up super fast without checking first.

4

C Chris 1 month ago

I've rented from them before for a party. They can be pretty quick with rentals if they have it in stock and you're not too far, but 3 weeks is pushing it for something huge. Definitely call them ASAP to coordinate shipping and availability.

Thinking about getting a giant candy statue for my business. Do they ever do like, bulk discounts if I wanted a few?

M Mark 2 months ago

I think they do for businesses or if you're ordering a bunch. I saw something about it on their site when I was looking at stuff for an event.

3

P Priya Y. 2 months ago

Yes, they definitely do! I got a discount when I ordered several animal statues for a themed park area. You probably have to contact them directly for the details, it's not usually an automatic thing on the website.

Are the statues good for outside? Like, if I wanted a dinosaur in my yard, would it hold up to weather?

G Gwen Y. 1 month ago

Some are, some aren't. They usually specify in the product details if it's rated for outdoor use. My gorilla statue is fine outside, but it's made of fiberglass.

5

L Laura L. 1 month ago

Check the material. If it's fiberglass, it's generally good for outdoor. Resin might be okay for a bit but could fade or crack over time if not protected from direct sun and extreme weather. Best to double-check the product page.

Anyone know if their holiday stuff, like the Santa statues, go on sale after Christmas?

M Marcus Vargas 2 months ago

Oh yeah, totally. Most places clear out seasonal inventory. I'd bet they have some clearance sales in January.

4

D Daisy D. 2 months ago

They for sure do. I picked up some Halloween props at a steep discount after the season ended a couple of years ago. Patience pays off if you're not in a rush!
